More New Buildings Coming To Fort McCoy

More new buildings going up at Fort McCoy. But with less soldier training taking place, are they really needed? Base spokesperson, Linda Fournier says the Army was pressed with some difficult questions when it came to those two scenarios.

The $9 million Central Issue Facility will be the first such facility in the Army Reserve, with new CIF structures next slated for bases in New Jersey and California. The building will replace a 1940s-era facility originally built to support loading and unloading of equipment and horses.
