New Onalaska Center Rolling Along
The City of Onalaska is waiting for an environmental report, one process in
the building of a new tourism and cultural center. Katie Meyers with the planning department says an archeological dig for historical artifacts in the area is needed before digging can begin.
Meyers also says the city still needs to acquire some additional property. Construction is slated to begin late fall of next year, and the $2.5 million center should be open September 2015.
