City Celebrates Friday Farmer's Markets At Cameron Park

The latest improvement to a popular area of downtown La Crosse is complete...

The last part of the Hanifl Canopy at Cameron Park has been re-opened, and Mayor Tim Kabat was among the VIP's celebrating the history of the Market Square area on Friday, along with members of the Hanifl family, who urged the park department to finish the canopy along King Street. The canopy is the centerpiece of the Friday farmers' market that happens at Cameron during the summer. The project began almost 10 years ago, and cost more than 350-thousand dollars.
