Joblessness Lower in Western Wisconsin

The counties with the lowest unemployment rates continue to be in western Wisconsin.  The latest from job counters in Madison show that seven out of ten of the counties with the lowest jobless rates are pretty close to the Mississippi River.  La Crosse county is one of those, with a 5.5% unemployment rate for July, down a couple tenths from the month before.  Trempealeau county, with the fourth lowest rate in the state, is even better at 5.2% for July.
