No tax increase in the city of La Crosse isn't a done deal.  Mayor Tim

Kabat's budget proposal has been met with only a little resistance from a key council committee this week.  But it's the part of the budget that could mean a tax bump or not for city property taxpayers

City council president Dick Swantz says council members want the mayor to consider allowing taxes to increase to the maximum allowed amount and maybe put that money towards property inspections.
