Pugh Painting In La Crosse

If you could paint a picture representing the La Crosse area, what would you

put in that picture?

The bluffs, the river, the blue bridges...maybe beer.  Those are all ideas being suggested to artist John Pugh of California, who's been hired to create a 'trompe l'oeil' mural for the outside wall of a building somewhere in La Crosse.  Pugh specializes in wall paintings that appear to be lifelike:

This week, Pugh has met with members of the public and community groups in La Crosse to get ideas for his mural.  He'll submit a design to a local arts board, which will decide what building will be used for the artwork.
