City Touts New Legislative Portal

You want open government?  You got open government.  The city of La Crosse has launched a new legislative research site to better enable the public to find out what city government is up to.  In an announcement of the Legistar site today, the city says the site "contains a wealth of information" about specific legislation including  sponsor and status and any attachments to the legislation are also available on the site.  It's accessible through the city's own website at
