Madd Likes Bills, Wants More

Proposed drunk driving law changes moving throught the legislature in Madison are a beginning.  From Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Frank Harris says, plenty more could be done to combat the continuing problem that leads to a couple hundred deaths per year on Wisconsin roadways.  He denies that cost of implementing new laws should be a barrier

The assembly has sent to the senate several bills that would, among other things, make a fourth OWI a felony.  Currently it's a fifth drunk driving arrest that gets charged as a felony.
