A La Crosse teen is nursing a wound he received at the jaws of a pit bull on the city's southside. Police say the 13 year-old was walking on the sidewalk on the five hundred block of Hood street last night around eight. As he passed a woman and her pit bull going the other way, the dog jumped up and got a mouthful of flesh right under the boy's arm. He was treated at the hospital. Police are still looking for the woman and the dog.
