Heroin Task Force Update

After three months of meetings, members of a local heroin task force have

done most of their fact-finding...

 

Now, the group's job is to take what it has learned, and figure out how to reduce heroin abuse in the La Crosse area and help those using the drug.  Committee co-chair Keith Lease tells us what has surprised him about the information gathered so far:

Lease's full-time job is as director of the Coulee Council on Addictions in La Crosse.  The task force meets later today, and may continue to have two meetings a month until it issues a report.
