Community Center Vote Coming Next Week

A big vote coming April first for residents of the Town of Onalaska and
Holland. They are being asked to spend about $70 a year for three years with the money going towards a new $4 million community center to be built on School District of Holmen land. Town of Holland Supervisor, Bob Stupi says there is quite a bit of support behind the measure.Holmen has already committed to funding the center. Stopi says a private fund raising campaign for the project will begin immediately after the referendum if voters say yes. A fund raising committee will host informational gatherings and presentations to educate residents about the ballot issue.
