Students Applaude Governor For Another Tuition Freeze Plan

On Friday, Governor Scott Walker announced a proposal for an additional two

year tuition freeze for the UW System. Sounds great says Austin Foster, the Northwestern Regional Vice-Chairman for College Republicans and current UW-L student.

This comes after recent projections have shown that the UW System will maintain a surplus of over $1 billion. The current freeze is the first in the history of the System.
