Social Hosting Rule Gets Final Nod From Council

Having a party for kids in La Crosse better not involve booze in the future.  The city council gives final approval to a social hosting ordinance on Thursday night.  It could lead to thousands of dollars in fines for those who host underage drinking parties.  Because sometimes adults don't pay very close attention, says former police chief Ed Kondracki, who pushed for the ordinance

The new law is similar to one already in place in Onalaska.
