Nuisance Camping Tickets Surge This Spring in La Crosse

While planning for the old Mobil Oil site is underway in La Crosse, those looking at the site may be seeing more than they bargained for.  Including some illegal camping spots.  The city has long fought squatters who camp out on the land north of Riverside Park.  Those sites can turn into a bit of a mess, says police lieutenant Pat Hogan

Hogan says police have this spring handed out way more tickets and warnings for so-called nuisance camping than they have over the last few years.
