Salvation Army Planning One More Summer With Old Air Conditioner At Lax Shelter

The folks who collect money in red kettles at Christmas need to raise cash in the summer, too...

The Salvation Army shelter in La Crosse is seeking funding for a new air conditioning system.  Julie Nelson at the shelter says it's nearly impossible to fix the aging chiller they have now:

Nelson says the new air conditioner they want would cost over 350-thousand dollars.  She tells us the Salvation Army will try to hang on to the old cooler through the summer.
