Mayor Good With Smaller Council

So far, not much resistance among La Crosse city council members on a plan to make the council smaller.  Half the council have supported the plan in a committee vote.  The whole council votes on the proposal in a preliminary vote tonight.  Mayor Tim Kabat says he doesn't see any negatives in shrinking the city council

A consultant earlier this year recommended shrinking the council among many other solutions for making city hall more responsive and efficient.
