Rep From Local Group Disturbed By Rail Disclosures

New numbers from rail haulers give some indication of just how much north plains crude is rolling through La Crosse.  BNSF is the biggest carrier, shipping up to 42 oil trains per week through La Crosse and other Western Wisconsin counties.  Each train carrying up to 3 million gallons of oil from the Bakken.  Which validates fears of big accidents for people like George Nygaard, with CARS, the local group fighting the expansion of oil shipping through the area

Canadian Pacific also ships crude oil through La Crosse, but only four or five trains per week.
