Two Referendums Added To November Ballot In Lax County

Is it a calculated political move to attract certain voters to the polls?

That t's what some La Crosse County board members wonder about two advisory referendums being added to the November ballot.  The referendums would support a 10-dollar minimum wage in Wisconsin, and an increase in federal funding for the Badgercare program.  Supervisor Steve Doyle, who's also a state Assemblyman, says America is a democracy, and November is a good time for referendums.  The November ballot in the county will be crowded already with a governor's race, the 3rd District race for Congress, and legislative elections.
