Oakdale Hit By Ash Borer; Quarantine List Up To Nearly 30 Counties

Monroe County has found evidence of the emerald ash borer for the first time...

The state ag department says signs of infestation by the ash borer recently were found at the Oakdale interchange of I-90 and 94, east of Tomah.  Infestations also have been discovered now in Columbia County at Lodi, and in Grant County at Stonefield Village in Cassville.  Four other southwestern Wisconsin counties will be added to the quarantine list, because they're located near counties where the ash borer has struck.
