Minnesota State Troopers Honor Memory Of Winona's Ted Foss

Police in Minnesota will be watching carefully this weekend for drivers who don't give officers plenty of room during traffic stops...

They'll be enforcing the 'Ted Foss Move Over Law,' named after a Winona area state trooper who died in August of 2000 after pulling over a driver.  A passing truck hit and killed Foss along I-90 near Lewiston.  The state law bearing Trooper Foss's name requires drivers to shift to an outside lane when they see vehicles stopped along the highway.  Law officers gathered today at a rest stop near the accident site to mark the anniversary of Foss's death.
