Art's Afire At UWL

Things got a little hot yesterday when somebody was working on metal in the art department at U-W-La Crosse.
Some metal started on fire inside a kiln on the first floor of the Center for the Arts. The fire did not spread outside the kiln, but firefighters evacuated the building just in case. The building's ventilation system dispersed most of the smoke. The arts building had to be evacuated for almost two hours.
