Guilty to Bank Robbery

It only took 6 minutes to bust a Michigan man has pleaded no contest to robbing a Tomah bank back in June.

35-year-old Mark Rathbun was arrested June 28th following a robbery at Farmers and Merchants Bank.

Police say Rathbun went into the bank and passed a note to a teller that said he had a gun and wanted money. Police say nabbing him was easy due to the bank employee's description of Rathbun after he fled the bank.

This was the first bank robbery in the City of Tomah in about 12 years.
