Brian Fukuda is a community development specialist for the county, and he says a few dozen more hotel rooms could be a big draw for meeting planners.  Fukuda says a site fairly close to the La Crosse Center would be more appealing to developers than the Mobil Oil property, or the old Holiday Inn land on the pike.
