Chopper Down. Pilot Hurt In Monroe County

New information on a Monroe County crash this morning. WIZM news has not learned that a helicopter crashed while crop dusting this morning around 11 near Tomah. We were told that a pilot was crop dusting near Tunnel City this morning when he experienced some trouble with his helicopter and it went down in a cornfield. After the crash, the pilot remained in communication with emergency responders. A Fort McCoy aircraft found the wreckage a short time later. The unnamed pilot received minor injuries and was take to a local hospital.
