Students at Long fellow Middle School and La Crosse Design Institute will
welcome in the 2014-15 school year with an all school flash mob at 10:30
a.m. in the school’s gymnasium.

“We were looking for a way to capture the energy of the day and create a
sense of unity,” shares Principal Dr. Penny Reedy.

The all school assembly will also include a welcome from Principal Reedy
as well as an overview of the school’s PBIS (Positive Behavior
Intervention Supports) initiative for the school year.

“We’ve never done anything quite like this,” Reedy adds. “We will
have close to 500 people dancing together in our gym at one time. It
should be memorable.”
