First, a doctor's exam...then, another date in court.
Joseph Smith of Holmen again is going through a familiar routine, in hopes of being freed from a mental hospital. Judge Dale Pasell has assigned a doctor to study Smith, and then file a report for a January 31st court hearing. The man reportedly said he was a member of the Taliban, and said 'death and hatred to all mankind.' The same guy had made a 9-1-1 call that night, sending cops to a nearby Kwik Trip. Timothy Clinch was identified from security video at the Kwik Trip, and he was arrested later on 4th Street. Clinch has a history of arrests, including a recent one for making a false emergency report.
