In the near future...you may be seeing a different kind of flu vaccine. An experimental DNA plasmid vaccine appears to overcome some of the limitations of current vaccines by offering protection against a wide variety of strains, report researchers. So is it just science fiction? One local doctor says nope.
Dr. C.J. Menagh with Mayo Clini Health Systems, says the current vaccines people recieve are outdated and he will be watching this latest DNA trend. But in the meantime, Menagh recommends you should still get a flu shot every year.
A garbage finding in Duluth may be anything but unusual.

First hurdle cleared for adding a top administrator in city hall. A La Crosse council committee last night is the first to agree to a plan to add a city administrator. The right thing to do, says councilman Bob Seaquist
But ron Clark is among those who spoke at the committee meeting against the plan
the full council will have to approve the city administrator proposal on a two thirds vote.
Activists pushing to recall Governor Scott Walker say they have collected more than 300 thousand signatures for the effort in just 12 days. And it looks as though Reid Magney with the Government Accountability Board and his staff will have their work cut out for them verifying all of the petitions. And when it comes time to do that.....Magney says.......
They are usually known for their electric, high powered musical sounds around Christmas time.....playing sold out shows all over the country. But the Lacrosse Center will be filled with different sounds this time when the Trans Siberian Orchestra performs in April. And with 2 huge concerts coming starting next month, Center Director Art Fahey says why go anywhere else?
Ticets are already on sale for Lady Antebellum and Miranda Lambert......they go on sale December 9th for Trans Siberian Orchestra. Date of that show is April 19th.
