No Time Set For Helgeson Murder Hearing

The D-A in Jackson County is still putting together criminal charges against murder suspect Lars Helgeson...

No date has been set so far for the Hixton man to appear in court, for allegedly shooting his father and burying the body. Helgeson surrendered to police last week, on the same day that investigators found the body of his father, Brian. Lars reportedly has told police that after shooting his father in the head and back, he dragged the body behind a tractor and burned it before burying the remains at an ATV track.
